Genuine Factory-Replacement Three-stage Air Filter
for the Surround Air / Multi-Tech XJ-3000C or XJ-3000D air purifiers

A sealed Three-stage filter unit containing the following filters:

• Silver-impregnated Anti-Bacterial Pre-filter
• 2-layer Activated Carbon filter for odors *
• Large HEPA filter

* The activated carbon odor filter cannot be seen, since it is between the pre-filter and the HEPA filter. The activated carbon produces a slight burnt smell at first. After a few days or weeks, the odor goes away. However, the odor may be eliminated almost immediately by using the Sanitizer (ozone levels) button.

Replacement is suggested every one to two years for the filter, depending on pollution levels. The life of the filter may sometimes be extended a little by vacuuming the dust off the exposed pre-filter.
