Try any product sold here in your home risk-free for a full 60 days from date of shipment. If, for any reason, it does not meet your expectations, you may return it to us for a full refund of the purchase price, less any shipping costs.

We have never charged anyone a restocking fee. After inspection of he returned merchandise, we refund the full purchase price, less shipping and handling charges (if any) of any ionizer or emitter displayed on our web site *.

The bottom line is, the return rate on our products is less than one-half of one percent. That is a fact, and it testifies to the satisfaction of our ionizer customers. But we do not want you to keep anything that you don't want or need, so if you purchase something from us and want to return it, please contact us for instructions and a return authorization number.

NOTE: Returned product(s) must be received by us within seventy calendar days of invoice date (or the day we shipped it to you, if that happens to be later than the invoice date) in like-new, saleable condition with all original packaging, manuals, ion detector, ion emitter(s)**, and any other accessories shipped with the product. Before returning anything to us, please contact us for instructions first.

All claims for missing items or items that have arrived with visible damage due to mishandling in shipment must be made within 10 business days from shipping date.

* 60-day money-back policy applies to any standard ionizer or emitter displayed or sold on this web site. In other words, if we custom design a special ionizer(s) for your special application or installation, returns may be subject to a restocking fee or only covered under our warranty for materials and workmanship (that is, it/they may not be returnable for a refund or credit). If in doubt, just ask before ordering.

** The ion detector and emitter(s) must also be returned, even if damaged, to qualify for any refund. Ionizers returned to us without the ion detector and emitter(s) will be returned to the customer and no refund will be issued. We started enforcing this policy after several persons ordered an ionizer just to get the free detector, and then returned the ionizer to us (now only saleable for a fraction of its original cost), for a refund.

Five Year Limited Warranty

Comtech Research LLC warrants the following products, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for a period of five full years from the date of initial purchase:

• IG-133A ionizer
• IG-133DG ionizer and DustGrabber combo
• IG-133DGB ionizer and DustGrabber combo
• DC-2 DustGrabber
• IG-1215 ionizer
• Ion detectors (IDN-1 and IDS-2)
• Ion emitters and other accessories for above models
• FanHandler products (Manufacturer's warranty.)

THREE YEAR WARRANTY:

• The following Surround Air products, provided by and serviced by the manufacturer.
• XJ-3000C
• XJ-3000D
• XJ-2100

TWO YEAR WARRANTY:

• All Air Probe Sanitizer residential models. Extended FIVE YEAR limited mfg. materials warranty on electronic ballasts in standard Air Probe Sanitizers effective Jan 2004. After initial 2-year warranty period expires, a $45 rebuilding charge includes two new sockets and one ballast (dated purchase receipt with proof of date of installation required). $95 rebuild charge after five years. Rebuilding includes a new ballast, wiring, lamp sockets, UV-C lamps, and the cost of shipment back to you. (Basically, when that's done, it'll be a brand-new unit).
  These low out-of-warranty rebuild costs are only available to customers who initially purchased the Air Probe Sanitizer from us.

ONE YEAR WARRANTY

The following quality products (made by others) have a one-year warranty, even though we fully expect them to last a long time, too:

• IG-1202 Car Ionizer
• XJ-2000 Air Purifier
• All Neotec products

If the above product(s) should prove defective in material or workmanship within the stated warranty period, seller will repair or replace the product, in its sole discretion. This Warranty also covers damage to the products caused by power surges that do not cause visible damage. Service under this Warranty can only be obtained by your delivering or shipping the product (with all shipping or delivery charges prepaid) to: Comtech Research LLC, 352 Lawrence CR 1127, South Greenfield, MO 65752. Seller will pay return shipping charges to customer. Please contact us for instructions before sending anything back. This Warranty does not apply to normal wear or to damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. Seller makes no express warranties other than the warranty expressly set forth herein. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, all implied warranties, including all warranties of merchantability or fitness, are limited in duration to the warranty period set forth above; and this warranty expressly excludes all incidental and consequential damages. We assume no responsibility for any labor or freight cost either in connection with or separate from any installation or removal. (Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.)

* If you did NOT purchase the Air Probe Sanitizer from us, then the retail out-of-warranty rebuilding charge is $175.00.
Of course, these rebuild prices may eventually change. However, we will keep them as low as we can as a long-term courtesy to our customers.

UL will not permit us to sell any Air Probe Sanitizer parts except replacement lamps. Sorry.
